  • 64M memory (PC133) super slow?

Ok here's the deal. I am putting together an Athlon 550 system, and the price difference betwen 64M and 128M memory may be the difference between getting the computer in a couple days, or waiting a few weeks to a month! Are there any problems with buying 64M now, then upgrading with either another 64M stick, or even a stick of 128M later?

I'd naturally use the same manufacturer and spec for all of the sticks...

    Thanks!

I have one 128MB 133Mhz and 2*64MB 133Mhz ram sticks in my PC and my memory benchmark in Sisoft sandra is very low. In al other tests I beat the P3-500 with my P3-450 @ 560, just the memory bench gives me scores around the K6 450 level. I don't know if this is because I have 3 sticks instead of 1, but I tried various configurations in my BE-6s bios and luck whatsoever.

Altough this is only a benchmark, I haven't encounterd any slowness in games or anything, I'm quite happy with performance.
