    And, apparently, Micron has decided to not take Hitachi's and Toshiba's "big honkin' chicken route," and will not recognize Rambus's patent claims or pay royalties.

      Yeah, I read the posts on the other forum and it has excellent info. So it looks like crucial and mushkin are the way to go
      Like you said in the other post, it might cost more, but it is worth it! Up until researching memory the last few weeks, I didn't know that the specs were so tight between 128 and 256MB, with 256 having a harder time with overclocked and out of spec systems.

        KTI BGA ram is not that good for overclocking. I cannot get mine over 140@cas. I think anandtech had a pc133 comparison and included the kti stuff, and his didn't do that well either. spend your money on the mushkin, you won't be sorry
