be6-2 and softfsb

does anyone know off hand which clock generator is used on the be6-2? I'd check mine but the mc-1000 is so BIG I can't see the chip

I'd like to try softfsb but can't find the right choice

If I were DuRaNgO, my anwered be kinda short, hehe: no rebooting to change the FSB.

I tried using Softfsb on my BE6-2 without success. None of the settings worked. You may have better luck than I did.

btw, best thing about SoftFSB is that you find your peak setting in very short time ...

raise clock ... benchmark for stability
raise clock ... benchmark for stability
raise clock ... benchmark for stability

lower clock ... benchmark for stability
raise clock ... benchmark for stability
raise clock ... benchmark for stability ... crash
lower clock ... benchmark for stability
remind settings ... reboot to BIOS ... make setting permanent

no need to reload those stinking WinBlows drivers everytime ...
