Scout, the main reason I went for the MC-1000 was because it could be used on many different cpu's, the idea to mod it came after I'd already ordered it :P
One of the other mods I'm considering is to put it on the cpu, remove the fans and cool the heatsink with water so to remove the heat from the case while still getting full cooling power from it
This method will need much more attention to condensation control but will also have better yields

With the proper waterblock you could also mod it to any cpu, but i guess since you came up with the idea after ordering, its makes more sense
also, i meant to say 20-30
you can get them http://www.overclockershideout.com/peltier.html

A little story about a favor that goes a long ways!
After receiving the MC-1000, I realized that I had ordered the wrong gasket kit
I proceeded to send Gabriel, the owner, an e-mail asking what I needed to do (or buy) to rectify the problem
His e-mail response back to me was that he would send me the replacement pieces to convert it to my specific cpu FOR FREE!
whether he would do this for everyone that screws up in ordering is unknown, but the fact that he would do it for even one person (me ) shows me that he is a very fair business man and I would highly recommend him and his stuff without hesitation, period!
btw, the MC-1000 is one helovah piece of work, nothing about it says "cheap", I can't wait to get the sucker fired up, of course, I'll need to wait for the new parts before proceeding, my bad

Alrighty then!
All the parts have arrived, I decided to use silicone conformal coating instead of GE caulking
The replacement parts from Gabe@Swiftech came last week so tomorrow the unit gets assembled
See ya soon!
