Hi all.
I'm currently using a Matrox G400 and ViewSonic PF815 (22", flat, apperature grill) monitor with the usual 15 pin VGA cable that came with the monitor. I typically run in 1280x1024x32-bit @ 85 Hz.
Image quality is important to me (why else spend so much on a monitor?) and I've been thinking about getting a BNC cable.
So I have 2 questions:
1) Will a BNC cable give me better image quality?
2) What one should I get? I assume that all are not created equal. Radio Shack lists a 6' BNC cable for $35 Canadian, while to buy one from ViewSonic's online store costs $55 US. I'm tempted to get the one from ViewSonic, even though it will top $100 Canadian after shipping and taxes (and especially duty: god damn duty!).
Does anyone have any advice to offer?
Thanks,
Cory
