I recently exchanged my FIC SD11 for an ASUS K7V because I was having trouble with this SD11. Now, with the K7V in, after I power up my computer, it will power for 1 second then turn off. I tried troubleshooting my computer (unplugged almost everything but ram/cpu/video card) but still no help. My power supply is 250 watts. I've been told to get a 300 watt power supply, but I don't know why I'd need to since it worked fine on the SD11. I have an Athlon 750 using a G400 32mb card. It is possible that it is touching metal, but I haven't really taken a look at that yet. Anyone else have any other suggestions?

I had the same problem after switching cases. I thought it was caused by metal touching ( there was) but that didn't help. It was fixed by switching the way everything was plugged into the power supply. You say you unplugged everything so... maybe try to get your hands on a 300 watt p.s.

I fixed it. Yay. On the K7V theres a panel on the bottomright of the motherboard where you plug all these cables into like the Power Switch/Reset Button/etc and it seemed to matter which way they went in. (Thats not what tech support said)
