Strange win2k dial-up connection problem
A very annoying one:
1st time I reboot, it connects just fine. For any reason, after surfing a while, IF the connection falls or I disconnect I can´t connect a second time. Better saying, it connects, then it stalls in "veryfing user name and password" with no modem activity.
Happens all the time with all the ISP´s. If I reboot, the problem is cured, I can connect again no probs. But it I disconnect, there we are again.
It was working fine, I´m pretty sure of that. I don´t know what is going on. Win98 works fine.
I´m using win2k with sp1, IE 5.5 and a diamond supra express external. It´s very annoying to have to reboot every time I want to connect.
Any obvious things I´m not thinking of??
