  • Win2k, Toshiba DVD and invisible PCFormat files?

    Hey guys,

Got an odd one here - I stick in the PCFormat cover DVD into me drive, but when I look at the files on the disc, I can't see anything below the second directory level. Look at the screenshot below:

Right, in the 'F:\Software\HipHop2' directory, there are loads of files and directories, but in win2k I can't see them! It isn't just this directory, there is nothing beyond this level!

If I boot up WinMe or any Win9x, I can see the files perfectly.

    Does anyone have any ideas?

    Steve

    Hello Steve,

Seems like a Major Bug(tm) in Windows 2000..

I too have noticed some "empty" folders on compact discs. Also, once W2K showed only a portion of the files (some 100 out of 350).

Have you learned anything about this?
