I had windows me installed since about to beta's ago. I think it is an improvement over win98se. It boots faster/shuts down faster. Is stable and fast. The big down side is it's incompatibility with a lot of internet software (winroute, black ice, etc.)
In the end I don't think the improvements are worth spending a lot of money on...
Jorden: All that ms removed is the option to boot in real mode. At the inside it's still a new windows 95 version. It still has 16 bit windows proggy's running in the same mem-space. But who cares about 16 bit prog's these days...It does run dos prog's in it's own memory space -btw- (command.com is just the shell)
Grtz,
Ed
