    Do you uninstall the old VIA drivers before updating?

        Use to,but it seems Via has improved the install,so it just updates the old.
        I still avoid the busmastering from Via,windows does a better job.
        In addition,many people had problems when installing/using it.

          I generally install over them, no problems to report. If it were someone else's machine I'd clear the old ones first.

                  I think bm is enabled and working ok

                    That's what I really hate about VIA. Nothing is for sure Can't wait to replace my KX133 chipset with the upcoming AMD or Micron chipsets.

                      Install over the other.

                      What with the BM ??? it seems to be working fine...then I never tried with windows BM.
