re: the power thing...don't be fooled by some confusing terminology. Loudspeakers, at least in the syntax that I understand, are never "Powerful." Loudspeakers simply recieve juice from your electronics and turn that electricity into waves of moving air. The correct terminology (at least back in my day) is to refer to a speaker's "efficiency." Now efficiency (your term was Powerful)is not necessarily the holy grail of accurate sound either...although it is a desirable characteristic.
In your case, based on the music that you like, efficiency (how loud does it sound per unit power) probably is a consideration...you'll need something that can move those big bass waves. Since HipHop and other 'bassy' styles are more about how the bottom end of the music feels, rather than sounds, you should look for something that has a self-powered subwoofer, crank it up, and enjoy.
