I could use your help for a friend, guys:
System:
TRANSTEC 5200 RAID 4 (6 x 50 GB)
2 x SCSI CONTROLLER BY CMD
2 x SCSI CARD ADAPTEC 3950U2 DUAL CHANNEL
Problem:

Network instabile, probably the SCSI card.
1 SCSI controller is active, while both should be active.
Eventlog:
SCSI Device port 1 did not respond within the timeout period
The backside of the transtec raid has the following ports:
- Host 0 in connected to DLT backup
- Host 0 out lussed to Host 1 in
- Host 1 in lussed to Host 0 out
- Host 1 out terminated
- Channel 3 out empty
- Channel 4 out empty
Each host directs 3 disks. When you remove the lus between Host 0 out and Host 1 in, instead of terminating it, it sees 3 harddrives in the RAID system.
Terminating channel 3 & 4 resolves in the system not recognizing the complete RAID system as one harddrive.
SCSI's IRQ's 24 and 40
Any idea what this might be?

If you need aditional data, ask, and I'll relay it.

Jord.
