The Duron wins this battle quite clearly, but I didn't regret purchasing my Cel566 at all, since I was able to keep all of my other components (Mobo, RAM) and thus it was a very cheap, but efficient upgrade.
If you're intending to set up a new powerfull budget system, go for the Duron.
