    Guru,

IE is far from perfect. Unfortunately, all Netscapes since version 3 are FARTHER than IE is.

I downloaded it because it was supposedly an entire core rewrite, and I have hopes that someday, a browser will wow me as much as NS3Gold did. NS6 is not that browser. So until then I have to settle for the best that is currently available - which is IE5.

Yes, I care... but the sites I've been going to lately only work correctly with IE ... so I can only use NS for mail (as all my archived mail can't be exported to any other mail client that I've found).

I like NS better than IE, but IE isn't as bad as it used to be (now that I finally found out how to manage my bookmarks/favorites with it).

I can live with it, but I still curse Microsoft for flooding the universe with its blasted SDK so that all pages are optimized for IE and don't work with NS.

            That's my $.02.

I've tested nutscape 6 for a while, and it really, really sucks! It looks awful, it is awful. I don't really understand why they bother develop it..
(netscape 4.7 was much better, but not even close as good as IE5)
I don't say that IE is perfect, on the countrary it has its flaws, but in the long end it is the best sollution...

My Gawd! Netscape 6 is 'effing crap!! I just downloaded it to test out our new web site, and I can't even get the thing to play a flash animation! (It keeps telling me that it can't find 'C:\Netscape.exe' - why would it want to?!?)

It looks terrible. It takes about 6 weeks to load - want me to register to 'activate' netscape. I hate it!

If mean Macromedia flash that don't work according to the Macromedias website.
Other things, horrible look so it's back to the classic look.
Always loads on mine but too slow.
Printing needs to be sorted out. I.e If you go to site that opens another window you cannot print that window out. Also the last time I tried it from another site it didn't give me the option to print out a single page. So I would have ended up with another half page I didn't want if I let print.
Not a good attempt at a new browser but they've fixed that memory leak by the looks of it.

                        Well..
Try the latest Mozilla : M18!

Fast, works on those damn "only IE" pages, Hawent crashed yet,
Looks.. I'm more interested in how fast the webpage loads than that the foeward or rewers button is ugly, funny or fine for that matter.

Why try the assimilated code when you can go to the source?

I think I'll stay away from NS6.0. I don't know what they were thinking releasing that anyway. It's a snapshot of a work in progress, and the developers didn't know that it was even coming until too late. I'm still trying to play with Galeon.
