From Intel:
AGP8X defines an optional 64-bit version of the interface targeted primarily at high-end platforms. The
64-bit applies to the data path for AGP8X Reads, Writes, and Fast Writes.

Greebe: would the 64bit version of AGP 8x not provide double the bandwidth? That's what I was hinting at!
Anyone know more about this anyway?
Though, incidentally, I always thought AGP was already 64bit!
