anyone know what this is doing at windows update site?

got a G400 MAX & using win98. this download is offered to me as an update on windows update site:

I know matrox driver 5.20 is for win 2000 but that driver is 3.4 Mb vs 4043 KB on the update site.
so what's this all about??

The latest WHQL driver for Win9x was 6.04.029 so i'm in the dark too.

Wasn't 5.20 the last certified Win9x driver? Or am I remembering wrongly?
