What controller should I put my CDRW on?
I have an Abit KT7 board (or will when it's hooked up) with a maxtor hard drive. I also have a DVD drive and a CD-RW (Samsung 6x) drive. How should I connect them? I know it works best if the CDRW is the master on it's own channel. Should I put the DVD as the slave of IDE0 (harddrive) with the CDRW the single master in IDE2? Will the DVD slow the harddrive if it is the slave?
