A question for all those Radeon owners: Is the Radeon64MB ViVo the same as the All In Wonder, that is, does it have the full Multimedia functionality (Rage Theatre chip, encode mpeg2 in Hardware,...)?

Radeon ViVo = AllInWonder?

No. The Radeon 64MB VIVO is ATI's top of the line gaming card. It does have the Rage Theatre chip and some video capture capabilities (as the name VIVO implies), but they are not as extensive as the AIW's. The AIW, for instance, can capture at higher resolutions. It also has a TV tuner and fairly extensive television functionality.
The Radeon 64MB VIVO is a faster gaming board. The chip and RAM are clocked higher (183/183) than the 32 MB AIW (166/166). It also has twice the RAM (64MB vs. 32MB).
Here are ATI's specs for both boards.

Thanks for the info.
After comparing the specs there still are some questions left.
As I understand it the VIVO does lack in comparisionto the AIW: the FBAS-In, the TV-tuner (and assorted apps/services), the SPDif/Out, the Audio-Out.
But it does seem to have the same Rage Theatre Chip, so it's capture-abilities should be the same. Nevertheless the specs say 640x480 MPEG2 capture for the VIVO and 720x480 for the AIW. I guess this is just a typo in the specs?
Another thing: The site states raw AVI captures only in 320x240, is that correct, can't those cards capture uncompressed video at full-size? Or is it just too CPU/HD depending and thus not listed?
I want to build a second system of "spare parts" and take my Hauppauge WinTV in that machine (together with the G400), so I'm looking for a gfxcard with capture ability. I don't really need the tuner functionality, a video-in would be sufficient, but the card should be able to do full PAL (768x586@25fps) uncompressed captures.
One last question (the most difficult perhaps): What about Video-capturing in Win2k with the ATI, does it work at all?

I own a 32 MB Radeon DDR with absolutely no frills, which is the way I like it. But I know where you can find out. Rage3D has a "AIW/ViVo/DVD/Tv Tuner/HDTV Support" forum, and I'm sure they'll be willing to help. Here's a link directly to the forum:
