    I was just wondering...

    I have a g400 and an athlon@500, what are the best drivers/firmware/bios combination for this motherboard(for gaming..). Also, how do you go about updating the m/board bios (is there anything special that needs to be done?).

    Finally...has any1 got any juicy overclocking tips?

    Go to www.msi.com.tw to get the BIOS, and the program that you run update the BIOS. I use the 1.5 version, since 1.6 wasn't as stable for me.

    Overclocking? You might want to look into a GF device for that Athlon, but with today's prices maybe a different CPU would be worth it (once you include the cost of new heatsinks, etc). The motherboard itself won't OC the bus at all.

    Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.
