True again, Jason. My system might be an old, rock-solid, Asus P2B with a meagre P3-450, 256Mb of PC100, last BIOS (and probably for-ever last). I can't disable ACPI, it's standard on, which should screw my WinME / Win2k setups. (and Win2k has probs sometimes, I admit)
But at least I got it to work
