      Yeah - I've done it!

Under standard 3-3-3 timings at 133Mhz, my RAM performance has gone from 444/505 up to 457/505 in SiSoft Sandra.

Running at up to 2-2-2 at 133Mhz, I've managed to reach 500/604. With my CPU at 12x100 I can get it to 3402/1639 CPU score in SiSoft Sandra. (But 3dmark2000 won't finish )

Hey, she's no girl. She's big, mean, and at least seventy years old.

I beat her, too, and in a most manly way. When she came to the door, I diverted her attention ("look, it's Haley's Comet!" A classic.), and I cold-cocked her. Then I grabbed her walker, ran back home, drank two cases of beer, and performed scientific experiments on the cat.

Got a few screenies for you lot:

First couple are what WinMe found after the BIOS upgrade (Win2K found nothing new)

And this one shows that the BIOS thinks I have a KT133A chipset!!

Now a real man would have boinked the neighbor's wife, stole his dog, punctured his tires, and then kicked the snot out of him for no reason at all

Maybe it's enabled interleaving. I would think you'd have to do that manually, however. It's usually off by default.

Go figure. Many A7V's have been plagued by BIOS issues. Flash the board with another board's BIOS, and it performs better than ever.

A7V users, I think, are an interesting group. Extremely macho. A new BIOS comes out and everybody flashes. Asus posts a defective BIOS, flashes fail all over the place, and they think it's funny. (I could see P3B-F users getting all pissy about this. ) A BIOS for a new board with a new chipset comes out, and there's widespread hot flashing and benchmarking.

It's not a board for wussies.

I kicked his dog and the cat's pregnant. Does that count?

Now the question is, will the A7V with the new A7V133 BIOS have better FSB overclocking results?

                    I can't get any more out of my 1Gig Tbird than I could before.... (10.5x113=1186Mhz @ 1.85V)
