Monitor refresh rates
After messing around with refresh rates a bit I noticed this on my monitor. At 1024 * 768 theres blurred area at the bottom Rh corner if you drop this down to 60Hz the area grows larger steadly increasing the refresh rate the area grows smaller. It's also noticable in other areas but not so much. You can adjust this by using the converange but it's always a juggling act. At 800 x 600 it's perfect.
Since several monitors have shown the same tendacy (But had different faults) I'm beginning to suspect the Matrox card (Shock horror). I've got a cheap card to check this out. I can remember checking this in the shop with a gfarcemx and this didn't have the same problem or I didn't notice.
