Interesting P4/P3/AMD comparison at Anandforum

Basicly it uses the PovRay renderer, but recompiled with P4 and P3 optimization. So far the P4 is less than impressive, but it's quite interesting IMHO.

Ah it's back up after being hacked. I'll read the article in a bit. Just been working on 1.5g P4 at work and yes you can knock a few hertz off. The certainly slower than my P111 800@1gig and it's running on scsi hard disks where my is just plain ide.

Have you tried doing some FlaskMPEG on the P4 vs the P3 or even SETI on the P4 vs the P3 ?
What about 3DMark 2000 ?
What about ......
What .....
etc.
