Please note that this was REALLY only a problem with EARLY TLA #'s of the Plextor drives. AFAIK all the rebadges, as well as 90% of the Plextors, didn't have this problem at all.

One way to enable the subchannel data/audio is to jumper the drive for Ultra DMA (via the unused jumper on the back of the drive). Why you WOULDN'T have already done this is beyond me.

In addition, no SCSI models are affected.
