  • What do I do?

I want to buy 2 x 256MB PC-133 sticks of RAM for my machine (I have homes for the 2 x 128s in it).... but I have a question:

    Should I get cheapo PC-133 CAS3 things (~£50 + VAT) ??

    Or, should I get nice crucial PC-133 CAS2 sticks (~£66 + VAT) ??

Is the crucial really gonna make much difference in speed and reliability? I run a T-bird 1Gig @ ~1100Mhz (depends on my mood ).

I'd go for the crucial stuff, I did,
CL-2 is good, besides the warrenty is likely to be a hell of a lot better.
You wanna piece of me? here, *crunch*, o.k. not _that_ bit.

Go with Crucial. You can get 2 CAS2 256 MB sticks for under $100 USD (w/o shipping). Why even debate about speed and stability when you can get the best for so damn little money.
