The Radeon was out last summer not October, looks like you better get your facts straight. I'll bet those benchmarks were taken after the new driver release probably the detonator 3 631 drivers. win2k blows goats for gaming in general why the hell would anyone want to game on it to begin with? I'm sure everyone noticed that the framerates of both cards on those benchmarks rock and given how good the Radeon looks and how many more features it has it's a no brainer as to which card is superior. You say it's a gf2mx with better image ROFLMAO .You posted the benchmarks where was the gf2mx as fast? Have you even tried running a Radeon with the 7089 drivers, obviously not.

Yet another mindless statement. How come my G450 has very little performance hit? How come my V7700 has little or no hit?
Even if you leave games completely out of the picture, the Radeon sucks in win2k, more specifically it blows goats The 2D performance is sub par, the stability is no where near what even Matrox's beta drivers were when Win2k was still in beta.

Actually I have never heard of the "7089" drivers, the latest drivers that I have seen for win2k are the 5.13.01.3102 drivers posted a few days ago. These have only fixed some video playback issues, but the 2D still is slow/unstable.

the g450 has very little performance to begin with , so big deal. My viper 770 sits in my server now, no comparison in gaming quality. Durango - you must be stupid as new motherboards with higher bus speeds come out I can crank it even more. At least I was guaranteed of hitting the 133 FSB, and a 733 will kick the crap out of a 750 that costs more you dumb ass. As for the 7089 drivers, well thats what I'm running they are win9x drivers and they added 20fps to my UT and q3 scores. You can grab them from Rage 3d. I have no loyalty to any vid card company as I stated in another thread.

So, what do you think when my G450 beats the Radeon in performance under win2k? That's pretty bad. The way I see it, both cards can run resolutions of 1024/32bit fine in most games, but both can't really perform higher than that, and the G450 has more features, faster 2D better 2D quality, and far more robust drivers.

?? Are you referring to my V7700 post? That is an Asus Geforce2 64MB DDR card, not an even crappier diamond/nvidia card.

I feel sorry for you if you cant game above 1024x768x32 thats pretty pathetic. I game just fine in 1280x1024x32, I can also goto 1600x1200x32 and it's still quite playable.I don't think anything of gaming in win2k so I could careless about your scores in win2k.It's obviously a driver issue anyways and seeing as the drivers have only had roughly 7 months to mature it would only make sense that the focus would be on getting
win9x running great before catering to the much smaller group of umm "win2k gamers"
