Hi, I have just installed W2K on a newly formatted drive (no upgrade).
I have noticed that I have 5 devices all allocated to IRQ 9 which does not seem to be causing any problems.
I have an ASUS p2b-f mobo. The following 5 devices have been allocated IRQ 9
Matrox g400 (agp)
SBlive (pci)
Diamond SCSI (pci)
USB
ACPI
Strangely only my ISA network card has been allocated its own IRQ.
Is this normal for W2K - I think it might be something to do with ACPI because I have another older system (non ACPI) which had perfect IRQ allocation.
I have tried various settings in the bios and have also moved the various cards to different slots. None of this makes any difference.
Thanks .... Anthony
