hey, thanks spooge, those are really cool pics, thanks. i just started using my computer for other things than gaming (which i find quite boring by now (most of the time i do )), so i have no clue how all that works. i read the intro, and you got your credit
i saved a few of those pics, if i ever get a homepage and feel the urge to take one of them as a background, ill ask you first.
    thanks alot again

the problems with games is, that todays games arent as fun as they used to be, but maybe tahts just me thinking.
the last game i really enjoyed was planescape torment, after that i played icewind dale and some unreal tournament.
now i use my pc for surfing, homework, email, music and a movie every now and then.

i know this doesnt have to do anything with the threads topic, so i guess ill shut up now.

ps: when the g800 comes out, i might start gaming again

I still remember playing Blood, "ah ah, it burns, it burns, ah ah!!!!" In the words of Outpost.com commercials...now that's good stuff.

Topha: ~the last half of the page are newer ones, in which I rendered them at higher resolutions. I run at 1600x1200, and they scale quite nicely to that. If you want higher quality ones I can work something out with ya. About the first half of the stuff are older ones that I rendered at 640x480 and they don't scale up quite as well.

          Glad you like them.

Well to be honest, Litestep mimics the NextStep environment (and quite well might I add). I am not trying to say that Stardock's products are bad, I am merely saying you can get programs that do the same for free.
Someday, we'll look back on this, laugh nervously and change the subject.

Oh yeah, almost forgot, here's mine, constantly being reworked, now trying to get it to look like a certain kung-fu movie.

In case you're wondering, the answer is Windows 98.

LOL! Awesome pic. Could you post a URL for that?

BTW, I like your quote too! Who was that quoted from?

isochar, if you're talking to me, then that's a photo from a few miles away from me... if you want the photo (not great quality as my camera doesn't (make that didn't - see another thread of mine) have a zoom: http://stevec.cjb.net/fandm.jpg

And that quote is from Kelly Jones, from the Stereophonics - it's a line in their song 'Just Looking'.

Ever since the fall of skinz.org, Stardock (makers of Object Desktop) realized that the skinning community needs a stable website to provide skins... hence:

                            www.wincustomize.com
(they hired one of the guys from skinz.org)

Here's a direct link to the Windows XP Wallpaper:

Gurm: What size do you want Joel's in?

I've got 800, 1024 and 1280 in JPGs, and an 800 BMP. I might have the original - I'm still searching
