  • Media Player and changing resolution at full screen

Is it possible to make windows media player change resolution when i press ALT+Enter ?
    If yes; how ?

Let's say i'm playing a clip that's 320x240, or anything lower than 640x480, and i want it to plat in fullscreen at the res. instead of it being stretched to my desktop resolution which is 1024x768.

I have a G200 with 8 MB SD ram, and i was testing the monitor customisation at 320x240 and the pdesk switched to that resolution while testing my settings. (320x240 @85Hz).

I don't know if that work's with all media player version and codec but here's what i found. Open a file then pause it. Right click and then go proprieties->advanced->video renderer->performance then check disable mode change for full screen.

It work's with mediaplayer 6.4 & mpeg codec.

Well, i checked out NiceMC media plugin for winamp www.nicemcmedia.com which someone posted here a while back.

It's a nice player with good features, and it can change resolution at full screen, but the lowest u can get is 640x400.

i tried it 640x480x32@85Hz and it worked great.
