Well the machine is still working so I guess it was down to the cpu voltage and the thing getting a little to hot. So I'll need a better heatsink and fan me thinks.
I agree about the market share and the reason why Abit get more complaints.

Bollocks crashed last night with bsod and it wiped out the win2k drive. Nothing new installed bar a better hsink. Cleared Bios now reduced the memory timings and trying the disable acpi fix.

More annoying Microsft technet wasn't playing ball last night so I couldn't look up the error msg that was staring me in the face. Unfortunatley I haven't got it hear on me at this present time.

Thought the KT7a was a board for AMD chips, if you're running an Intel chip in it you're gonna have problems.

Hmm.. what kind of cpu heatsink do you have on there? Also, make sure you're using thermal grease or something, or you'll kill the cpu :P

If you have any more problems.. head over to www.amdzone.com and check out their forums.. lots of great info.
