If Sennheiser ever decides to make enough so I can get one, I certainly will.

The HD-590 blew chunks, reason for them being replaced by the 595's.

On a side note the DT-990's have been rated ever so slightly better sonically than the HD-595's and are more comfortable... also would be enjoying them instead of this waiting game.

I finally called my AV shop and asked why my Sennheiser's still haven't showed up. My sales rep called Sennheiser USA and he was told that, "due to increased security at all major US ports, our current shipment of products are stuck in customs." They expect them to clear customs late this week or early next.

You gotta watch out for those German headphone makers man, I tell you.

I used to have the HD580's. I have since upgraded to the HD600's with the Clou Blue cable upgrade.

Both are great sets of headphones, if you plan to buy an amplifier.

If not, I suggest the AudioTechnica A900.

I would go for the Beyer DT440s (with the help of mum and dad of course ), if they didn't have that stupid headband cracking issue...

Those are 300 dollars....which is a big chunk of money and I don't want 300 dollars headphones to be cracking after a while!!

edit: how come the pic ain't showing up even thou i used the IMG tags?

My ears are happy again. I've got a pair of Sennheiser HD-595's over my ears and The Prodigy (Fot o' the Land, when they were good stuff) booming. The bass is amazing, and I haven't even broken them in yet

Why would image tags be off in this little forum when they work just fine in the "New MURC Game" monster thread (which is 100% tagged images)?

acutally jamm, there is a guy on the forums in www.head-fi.org who has listened to them before. do a search on their forums!
                            friendly bunch of people there

On the other note, I join the audiophile club.
I sprung for Audio Technica ATH EM7s and Alessandro Music Series One.

I tell you, I've never heard anything as good as the Alessandros! Amazing sound!! The bass is so well defined and its so detailed!
The Audio Technicals work very well with my MD player, the EQ gets rid of the bass-shyness!!

I envy you for the HD595s. I listened to them in the shop and WOW....b****ead mania!! Congratulations man, how much did they set you back?
