PM me your details and I'll post you the adaptor if you'll make a small murc donation
I've had various battles: spent a while with 'driver' problems until I discovered the shared gfx memory needs setting to 128MB (default 32MB threw up errors). Couldn't display DVDs (despite installing PowerDVD 5) at anything above 800*480 - deccheck recommended updating and I found a patch that fixed this (despite not saying it would).
Finally got the thing attached to the TV last night, although not in its final resting place as I am waiting for the s/pdif module. Also the side extractor fan is too noisy so I need to replace that. The PSU fans and rear fan are nicely quiet. The stock CPU fan isn't too bad but a little noisier than I could like. The CPU is next to the side vent, so I may experiment with putting the CPU fan on the side of the HS and removing the side case fan.
My TV out signal is pretty poor atm, but I haven't had a chance to fine-tune it. MCE will only work with the DVB tuner in the Compro, and multiple tuners have to have exactly the same channel line up. Apparently the MCE remote system has an IR blaster and can be used to control my NTL STB, so what I may do is get one of those and an ATI gfx card with VIVO. Then I can use MCE to watch/record NTL and the compro card with its own app to watch/record analogue and DVB-T transmissions - unless anyone thinks it can't be done?
The VFD is quite nice - when not in MCE it cycles a number of modes, including system stats, weather, news etc. In MCE it tells you where you are and what you are doing, shows program name and time elapsed/remaining etc. Only trouble is I need new eyes to read it at my normal viewing distance
Thanks for the heads up on the conversion app
