    official cost for electricity here is $0.065 or so too, but with the other charges etc, it ends up at around $0.13

    how about your monitors?.. my 21" CRT's are ~90W each. I only have them on when I use the computer though.

      neither of those PCs have a monitor (they are servers)

      Both my LCDs are rated at 35W though, not sure how much they actually use
      Q9450 + TRUE, G.Skill 2x2GB DDR2, GTX 560, ASUS X48, 1TB WD Black, Windows 7 64-bit, LG M2762D-PM 27" + 17" LG 1752TX, Corsair HX620, Antec P182, Logitech G5 (Blue)

        Pentium M's draw way less power than you'd think!

        A 37w PC using Pentium M is very achievable.

          Yes, they do - and I think this thread is about the question whether or not HTPC makers should use mobile CPUs. I say: Yes, they should.
