How many here are planning on dual head use?

Don't forget about the Dual Zoom feature as well! Not quite sure where I'd ever use such a feature, but hey, it's there and neither nvidia or 3dfx can do it, so it must be good!

Honestly, the dual head feature is the only thing keeping me from buying a TNT2 now. As it stands, the cards are pretty much equal (Note: I said "pretty much") and the only thing tipping the scales for the 400 for me are the features, of which the dual head is the most promising for me. I will run both my monitors into this box and put my 17" on a switcher to use with my back up system for burning disks and LAN games. Its not that I am going to dedicate 2 monitors to one system, but rather utalize both monitors more efficiently.

I totally believe I will use this feature. I use multi monitors for work and would love to free up a PCI slot.

One thing I have not been able to find out is whether or not the G400 Max can boot on just a TV without a monitor hooked up.

I myself cant wait to get it working. I work witht he Mac equivalent at the office all the time (Media Composer systems) and love it. I already got a monitor ready and waiting (I love getting hardware at mass dealer prices . Personally I would use it to be able to multitask better. it's amazing how quick a 1280x1024 desktop runs out of space when your actually opening up lot of programs (Hey, thats why i got too much ram after all)

My computer and A/V system are in the same room so I have all computer sound going to a Pioneer 901 Pro-Logic and S-video from the G200 (all gaming) and Dxr2 to a 33" Panasonic GAOO. Works well enough that I can put off that 32MB Max until late fall/early winter and after the first bios revision of the coming Asus Camino boards, will get one and upgrade my memory to PC 133, CPU to .18 wafer P3 600, an ATA-66 HDD and will also have support for AGPx4. The TV-Out as it is just great so I'll wait.

Dualhead will be great! I've used dual monitors for years, back to an MDA and CGA in my old XT. For programming its great! Edit in one window, compile, debug in another - or use an IDE in one and be running the test program code on the other. Its great! (to say noth of keeping some of the d*** online manuals on screen while working on something.

I really miss printed manuals. My last set from Borland was 14 volumes
