  • What G400 TV-Out?

Can someone please explain to me how Matrox are planning to implement the TV-Out on the new G400 boards? All of the versions have two DB-15 monitor connectors, but none of them came with any sort of adaptor to enable TV-Out. What's going on here?

The dual head version comes with an adaptor cable which allows you to output to a SVideo or a composite TV. If you have a dual head card without this adaptor you were ripped off.

Hey, that looks so... simple to say the least. Can it be used with graphics cards other than the G400?

Hang on now, I've got to have a few words with my retailer

Of course NOT! The cable does not convert any signals. MAVEN chip is switched from VGA mode to TV mode and then the signals it sends became TV signals. The cable just routes the proper signals from Dsub15 connector to TV connectors.
