  • Slow NT OGL screensaver

With the old drivers, the text OGL (displaying system time) was alright. It wasn't incredibly fast but it was good enough. With the new powerdesk, usually the screensaver runs moderately slower, but occasionally and at random *really* slow. Like, 10fps slow. Is there anything I can do to make it faster without dropping the resolution?
    Thanks

The OGL screensavers do not use hardware acceleration at all, they are purely software driven, so maybe you have over-written the opengl32.dll file in the windows directory with the PD one, or something, the OGL screensavers shpould fly even on a 2D card, with a P2 400MHz

You're right Ish. Not that I care, really, but the MCD was faster than the ICD for the screensavers.

Why do you think the savers are always running non-accelerated, Quantum?
