At least, although I run into another AMIBIOS with the possibility to format your harddrive, with DOS it's that bit easier...
Grant, to answer your question: I found that deleting through windows obliterates the complete folders, while DOS is leaving those files on the disk that are R & H (Read Only & Hidden)... sometimes this can be usefull.
