registry hacks and 5.13

just wondering- what kind of performance boost are you getting by forcing 2x? will PD5 ever attain 2x without the hack? should i even care? ive got msi6163 mobo that ran 2x unforced with 4.51 and i thought id get the word from the ones who know.

I get 2X on both of my boards without any registry hacks. The one I am using to type right now is the ABit BH6, the other is the FIC VA503+.
