woo woo - i reinstalled win98se 40mins with smartdrv enabled (i cant remember what happened yesterday let alone the old dos days) 40 mins everything seems ok, something musta happened with the registry checker copying in old files or sumthing thanx everyone for your help
oh and btw its from hdd to same hdd it was prolly just fat32 and my ignorance of smartdisk
one more thing might mean nothing but during my lil episode i ran g200clk a number of times and was getting a clock speed of 120.20 while atm and b4 my episode i am getting ~164
