ok i thought i had it i was wrong . when i start halflife in open gl mode i get the message opengl mode is not supported by your video card. what is wrong ? i have reloaded windows still no luck.

p2 350 at 450, 196 meg nec pc100 sdram, g400 32 meg, 5xdvd drive, 10gig maxtor 2500+ hard drive, abit bh6 mainboard, xitel platnum storm voxtex 2 sound card, ctx vl950 monitor, and pixie 1450 monitor. pci linsys 10/100 card. dualhead is on and set to multi monitor.windows 98 (reloaded)
update to my problem. halflife d3d looks great. but i seem to see a white bar in my second monitor when i play. for the heck of it i disabled dualhead (i love dualhead. ooh thats sounds bad dosn't it.) now i get fuarther along in open gl mode i don't see the your video card dosn't suport this mode, but just as the screen opens the game locks up my system (gl mode only.)

Turn off DualHead, some OpenGl apps ie Quake 2 and 3 refuse to run when DualHead multi-displays are enabled. Make sure you are running your desktop in 16 or 32-bit.
