G200 Driver display question

I've been pretty happy with the new G200 driver except for this one thing:
Whenever I put a cdrom in the drive and an application is open, the display goes crazy for about 10 seconds..is this normal? It is really annoying and hoping somebody else has run into this...hope there is a fix. Thanks!

You should uncheck "Restore windows positions".
