Hi Thumper - you'll find that a lot of 3d programs (especially OGL) don't take kindly to the dual-head feature, so in this build of drivers anyway, turn it off if you have any problems.

    Cheers,
    Steve

Depends on how you use the dualhead...3D proogy tend to have problems with "DualHead Multi-Display" mode, but not "Clone, DVD Max, or Zoom" mode...

Hey thumper, can you post your 3dmark results? I have the exact same system as you and have heard that the 464 celeronA is not that great to use with the Max. Also have you tried O/C it yet??

          G400 Tech Demo

Got my Max 2 days ago and just got around to loading it up yesterday (bummer I got to work for a living). Anyway I noticed that the Tech Demo will not work if I got Dual Head enabled. Disable it and gawd is it nice, especially at 1024x768 with everything on. Has anyone else noticed this or am I missing something here?

            Thanks for the replies guys.
Nice to know I didn't miss anything. Now I know where to look first if I have any similar problems.

Maniac - I haven't used 3dmark in ages but I'll be glad to post my results for you. Ya gotta be a little patient with me though, I'm working this weekend. Same thing on overclocking.

I'm mostly into "Eye Candy" and turn everything on until the lag gets to bad, then turn down the resolution. Nothing below 800x600 though. Had Unreal at 1024x768 with 30 FPS(timedemo 1) yesterday.

My 3DMark scores for the 800x600x16 test are 3855 and 4428.

Judging from some of the other posts, it looks like an average score for a Celly 300A @464. Looks like the PIII 500+'s are running away from us, when it comes to counting "beans".

Personally, my next upgrade won't be until the Camino Chipset is out with the 4xAGP motherboards. By then the PIII's should be in my price range.

But for game performance I am absolutely toasted. So far I'm going from 800x600x32 to 1152x864x32, except for unreal (1024x768).
