Buuri : if YOU are satisfied with < 640*480 and crappy graphics , then so be it , BUT I WANT THE BEST LOOKING GAMES AND A HIGH FPS !

If i wanted i could play q2 at 1600*1200 because i get a crusher score of 30 FPS at that res . And it MAKES a difference if you play q2 at 640*480 or 1600*1200 .
In a q2 game i could see you when don´t even know that i am here --> i would rail the shit out of you
I even use a special *.cfg file for q2 for super quality graphics !

And that is why I want a g400max , SUPER SPEED AND SUPER QUALITY (especially in 32 BIT)

p.s.: today i got my tennmax p3 cooler and now 558 Mhz (piii450oc) is stable ;-)

I was able to overclock my PII 350 to 450, by taping pin B21 and setting the multiplier to 4.5.

And it hasn't crashed one time since those two weeks. Except when I again did something wrong while programming... as usual.

Couldn't use the FSB trick since my Intel i740 based card didn't like the FSB going from 100 up to 112.

Ever wonder why no one is itching to join this thread? You guys should get your "Lunch Room" manners up a few notches. Why be a jerk to others ? you all have a choice to either be polite and respectful towards each other or act like a creep. Your choice...This is not Rivazone...

              tombman,
You have a lot of good numbers to support your arguments, but everything would go much more smoothly if you weren't beligerent to others here.
Admittedly, some folks make it difficult to remain on the stoic side, but I'm sure that if you presented your (rather solid) case calmly, you'd get a much better response.

Maybe you are right , wombat , but you know that there are many "newbies" out there and i don´t want them to buy BIG cpus when there is no use of it in high res and bit depth .
                (for games of course)
One false thought creates 1000 new ones until the "newbies" are completely confused as i have often seen on our newsserver here in vienna !
So whenever i see an incorrect statement i try to correct it fast and brutal
I don´t want that there remains any doubt ..

I will try to stay calm the next time though ...
