    Let me guess, black and white screen atifacts would be a sign of overheating?

    After about 10 minutes of hard gaming, now I'm getting little 'patches'(about an inch square) of black and white rectangles popping up and staying on the screen. Would this be an indication that Matrox should have put a fan on their wunderkard?
    And no, the vid card is not overclocked...

    Yeah probably. Even if it wasn't it's a good idea to attach a fan on top of it.

      Heh, you mean add more fans to ole "J. Edgar Hoover"? With 3 intake and 3 exhaust, it already sounds like a taxiing 747
      I've got a 486 fan sitting in the spare parts box at the office, I'll try that on the heatsink tomorrow. Thanks guys.

      And actually, J. Edgar is only one of three Cel266@448 sitting here...and you all thought P2B's were poor overclockers...

        you may have a problem with case heat, try putting a slot fan in
