  • Haig, need some help

I posted earlier about some erratic behaviour with my G400 and G200clk. My G400 use to work fine with g200clk, but since using the latest version of powerstrip my G400 wont set right with g200clk. Could you please send me a new bios file if you can, maybe I can dispell some of the rumors about PS messing up G400 cards.

I have a G400 DH 32MB OEM. my email is
    rnay1@tampabay.rr.com

    thanks

    DOH!

PowerStrip may have screwed your bios? Nah.

    Hehehehe.

I don't mean to make light of your dilemma.
But if you've read that thread, you know how the author has denied that PS could do this, even though it has been reliably reproduced be several people.

I'll point Haig at this thread, and hopefully, he can get you the bios file you need ASAP

Don't forget to make a BIOS recovery disk after it's fixed

        Hi Rick,

I'll send you the default bios settings tomorrow.

Everybody please read what I am about to write very carefully.

All of you who are using these utilities have voided the manufacturer's warranty. The bios recovery that I sent out to a few people and also to Rick have no serial #. No this wasn't a nasty trick. It's not possible to make a bios recovery with everybody's unique s/n. So when you check in our information tab, you have no more s/n.

Those that have the default bios file, you can give it to Ant if you want so that if there are others who have the same problem, they can try to recover their card.

I know it's not want you guys want to hear but that's how it goes.

        Haig
