G400MAX+RR+DVD-AddOn ?

I am going to have a G400 Max and I already have a RainbowRunner G.
You can plug a DVD-AddOn to the RR - but - is it supported or even usefull ??? Will there be an improve of system performance ??

The RR-G isn't supported... yet. It will be soon. However, I am given to understand that the DVD add-on _won't_ be supported since the built-in DVD is good on the G400.
