    G400 Flash-Bios

    hi everybody,
    after reading some of the entries, i came to the solution, the only way to correct my g400-hangups (q2, and so on), is to flash the bios. but where can i get it? on matrox.com is no bios aviable...

    p.s. i never used powerstrip....

    I think you need to ask Haig nicely for one or try there tech support directly

      Hi,
      mhh, i created the emergancy-disk from matrox and their is a file named 'save.bin'. if i boot with this disk,the flash-prog progam the bios rev1.3 from this. could this be right?
      another problem: since today, sometimes pictures or bitmaps are destroyed during work. after rebooting everything seems to be fine. can this be a software-problem or may the board damaged (e.g. memory)??

        hi spider,
        if it will help you, ic can mail the bio(1.3-20). by the way, after flashing the bios again to the board, the bitmap-errors a fixed :-) only the open-gl problem are still there (but there i'm not the only i think).
        it seems it could be better, not to overclock anything at the moment ;-)

          hi !

          well...my bios is 1.2-19 so u can be lucky with those 1.3 bios because it is alredy newer...the created bios on emergency disk is actualy your ORIGINAL bios only BACKEDUP-ed..so we need 2 wait till new rvision is relised by MATROX...when ?...duno.

          If some one knowe where to download the NEW bios ? or those 1.3 ?

          I am in try of the new POWERDESK 5.15.022..but seams to have problems when OC with Pstrip or GX....when I push to 150 G400clk it became unstable with AGP & ALL Benchmarks just crash on default setings ewerything is OK !.....

          bout the screen,or beatmaps,or something destroyed...be cearful with Overclocking the card if U push to the LIMITS, such things could happend...so it is always bether to FIND a STABLE setings
