  • TV-out, G400 vs G200?

I've got the mystique G200 now, and i'm not quite satisfied with the TV-out. Is the TV-out of the G400 the same or can you read the text clearly when outputted to TV?
Who has got some answers for this potential G400 buyer?

It sure is a nice picture and even a better TV, but the question still remains. Can i see any improvement in the quality of the text? If i connect my TV(only 70cm) to the G400 and i'm running in 800X600, is it possible type letters in word for emample?
      without getting a headache?

If someone could compare DVD and game output as well (in addition to text) that would be great! As the original author says, people say the G400's TV-Out is good, but no one has tried to compare the two.

Don't count the box around the G200. We all know about that! (And, with any luck it'll be going away in one of the next driver releases.)

I don't have kick ass hardware anymore, but can you top me in installed OSes? WinNT 4 (2x actually), Win 98 SE, Win 2K RC1, BeOS 4.5, OpenStep 4.2, Solaris 7.0, FreeBSD 3.2, OpenBSD 2.5, NetBSD 1.4.

What, no Linux you ask? Linux (Red Hat 6) gets it's own computer- it doesn't have to share!

Hmm, I can't compare the DVD of the G200 with G400, but I can compare the DVD output of the ASUS V3400TNT with that of the G400. All you really need to know about it is that the DVD playback of the G400 is a lot better than the Asus card. The SoftDVD player that Asus ships is crap compared to the Matrox adaptation. The Matrox player provides a much clearer image, as well as better colors.
