  • Any ETA on new G400 drivers?

I thought I would wait and try some newer drivers before I made up my mind whether or not to keep this G400. Do any of you have a 'gut feeling' when that might happen?
    Thanks

First, if I were to want to improve performance on your system the first thing I would be doing is getting at least a 300a, G400 drivers (G200 too, for that matter) do better with some cache on the chip. I know this does not follow the general rule, but the G400 is very different from other cards.

Second, I noticed you are missing an Orange cat, I have an Orange cat that I will mail to you right away. He is neutered and and very friendly.

    Best Regards,

(notices everyone seems to be out of range...)

Hmmm, smarter bunch here than I expected. I'll have to find someone who doesn't dive for cover before replying

Enough people have mentioned the cachelss Cel/poor G400 performance that I'm willing to loan my card to my office machine for a few days. We'll see if that makes any difference.

I may have to take you up on the orange cat offer Manoj. My whole system just hasn't been the same without her camped out on the monitor. I don't think mail is a good idea tho. My cousin supposedly mailed me an Ewok when I was 12, and the poor fella didn't make it.

OverClocked Ginger Tom. Quite freindly but once you Overclock him give smooth Slashing blood letting action (no skipped frames at all, No TV out, but he will sleep on the moniter)

              Will Swap for G400MAx
