Dualhead? 2 Monitors must be at same frequency?

is it true, that in dualhead config both monitors must run at the same frequency?

The idea of popping my old 14" back on the desk would then be killed.

here's some CPR for that idea:

The g400 has two CRTC'ers (Catode Ray Tube Controllers, eh, monitor controllers), and in theory is two videocards.

Yup, you can have different resolutions, colour depths and of course frequencys.

they do this nicely with the DualBus 256!

I also have an idea about popping my old 14" back on the desk
